EDPUZZLE:

Edpuzzle, According to research, the majority of people are visual learners. That is why Edpuzzle is one of the really cool tools for the digital classroom

Edpuzzle is an app that takes any video and turns into an educational lesson. Teachers simply add their chosen video, set it up for students with questions.

PADLET:

Padlet is a tool specially designed to create collaborative panels with other colleagues or with the students themselves, – you decide with whom to share your panels! – where you can post and organise educational content and resources of interest about the subject, additional readings, activities to do,…

You will need to register and create a free account to start creating your digital panels, and then you can choose between different styles: wall, canvas, list, board, column, conversation, map and chronology.

CLASSROOMSCREEN:

This digital tool allows you to create your own free beamer or a smart board in your digital classroom to facilitate the online session and make it more interactive, thus encouraging student participation. ISSUU:

The ISSUU online platform allows you to store and share online a multitude of documents and files in different formats, so it can be a tool to use as an online repository for your lessons and educational materials.

We also recommend you to use its search engine (you can use the filter tool for a more efficient search) to find quality materials to use as additional resources in your curriculum.

WETRANSFER:

Send large files via email. It’s as easy to use as going to the WeTransfer site, entering your email address and the addresses to send the files to, uploading the files and sending the WeTransfers invitation.

You can also include a written message for your student or colleagues. The recipients will have 7 days to download the files to their own devices.

TOOLS TO SET UP A DIGITAL SESSION:

Video Screen Sharing in Real-Time  (Meeting platforms)

Here are some of the most common tools currently available, such as Zoom or Skype.

Zoom:

You will need to have an account to be able to create “meetings” and invite your students to join via a shared link. The free version allows up to 100 participants, unlimited one-on-one meetings but a limit of only 40 minutes for group meetings.

Skype:

You will also need to have a SKYPE account to invite your students to join a group call. However, the platform now allows users without an account to join the call via the invitation link. Therefore, it works in a similar way to Zoom.

Google Meet:

Probably you already have a Gmail account, so using this tool will be very easy. Google Meet allows you to create a new digital meeting from your own inbox. It’s possible to set up a 1-hour call with up to 100 participants for free!

Microsoft Teams:

Microsoft Teams is a business communications platform that allows corporate teams to communicate effectively through video conferencing and text.

GoTo Meeting:

GoTo Meeting is one of the most user-friendly online meeting platforms like Zoom. You can meet with clients and colleagues virtually at any time of the day.

Slack:

Slack is an instant messaging platform that makes communication between teams or large groups easy. This messaging platform is grouped into direct messages.
